React Conf Japan 開催中止のお知らせ

React Conf Japan を運営している React Japan User Group 代表の sakito です。

昨今のコロナウィルス(COVID-19)による日本の感染状況を鑑み、3月21日開催予定だった React Conf Japan の開催の中止を発表致します。

関係者、参加者の皆様には大変申し訳ありませんが、ご理解頂けると幸いです。

チケットをご購入頂いた皆様には、すでに Peatix を通じてメッセージを送らせて頂いております。

返金については、Peatix上のイベントが中止された場合はどうなりますか？ をご参照ください。

宿泊や移動に関する費用については、https://reactconf.jp/2020/ 上の「チケットのキャンセル、返金について」の項目にあるとおり返金補償は出来かねます。ご希望に添えず申し訳ありませんが、ご理解ください

今後の開催時期の目処は立っていませんが、コロナウィルスが落ち着き次第、再度協議していきます。

今後も日本の React コミュニティの発展には引き続き貢献していきますので、React Japan User Group をよろしくお願い致します。

Cancellation of React Conf Japan 2020

Due to current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus, we regret to form you that React Conf Japan for 2020 has been cancelled.

It's a heartbreaking decision for the speakers, sponsors and organizers who've put so much work into preparing -- and for the many people who've planned to attend. We sincerely thank all involved for their support.

For those who've purchased tickets, you should have already received a message from Peatix regarding your ticket's refund. For details, you can see this article.

Unfortunately, in accordance with the refund policy outlined in our FAQ we're not able to provide refunds for hotels, flights, or other related expenses. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

For some background on this decision, as you may be aware, there has recently been a sharp increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 in Tokyo. It's still uncertain how the events will play out between now and the planned conference date, but with the current degree of uncertainty around the safety of attendees, we've decided that the only responsible course of action is to cancel the conference for this year.

While we do not yet have plans for a future event, we'd of course love to see you at any event we do organize. To make sure you hear about any future plans, just follow @reactjp on Twitter.
